Anita Briem is an Icelandic actress from Iceland . She is famous for her character of Jane Seymour , the young woman destined to become queen of the third marriage to King Henry VIII in the series of television The Tudors and for her part as Hannah in the movie Journey to the Center of the Earth ( 2008 ) . Briem, who began her journey as an actor at age nine years old at Iceland's National Theater, is best famous for her portrayal of Jane Seymour. Her early involvement was in numerous radio and television shows, plays and productions throughout Iceland. Briem was a child performer aged 16, when she moved to London. Participated in the adaptation of Lenin and the Count of Monte Cristo, performed in Love by The New End Theater. Briem attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art for 3 years and earned an award in acting.
